VCF Academy in Houston impress in first-ever tournament

Two of our Academy sides in Houston participated at the Houston Labor Day Cup taking on both local and European academies.

The VCF Academy in Houston continues to grow and last week they participated in the Houston Labor Day Cup where both VCF Academy sides represented Valencia CF at the tournament which took place at Bear Creek Park.

The Bracket Gold 2003-04 and Bracket Silver put in an impressive performance against local and European Academy sides like the likes of Juventus claiming a well-deserved third place.

This is VCF Academy in Houston first-ever tournament who got under way back in June in Katy, Houston, Texas  with three  natural pitches of different dimensions to adjust to every Academy level’s needs. 

The VCF Houston Academy is one of four VCF Academies spread across North America alongside the Ney York Academy, the Seattle Academy in the US and the one in Montreal. VCF have 14 centres spread across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

The aim is to spread the image of Valencia CF and the working methodology of the club and the VCF Academy.
